SolvBTC LSTs

SolvBTC.LSTs establish the standard for all Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) within the SolvBTC ecosystem. These tokens provide Bitcoin holders with a unique opportunity to stake their assets while maintaining liquidity, enabling them to earn yields without the need to lock up their Bitcoin. By leveraging SolvBTC, users gain access to cross-chain yield opportunities, unlocking new avenues for Bitcoin's utility across decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems.

There are two distinct types of SolvBTC.LSTs:

  1. Pegged LSTs: These tokens are pegged 1:1 to Bitcoin, offering a stable, liquid representation of staked BTC that mirrors its value across chains. This ensures that users can move their assets freely without worrying about fluctuations in value.

  2. Yield-Bearing LSTs: These LSTs accrue staking rewards over time, meaning their value grows as they generate yield from underlying staking activities. Yield-bearing LSTs not only provide liquidity but also enhance long-term earning potential, allowing users to continuously generate income while keeping their Bitcoin active in the market.

Each SolvBTC.LST represents a staked position in the underlying Bitcoin, offering:

  • Seamless Cross-Chain Transfers: Through interoperability solutions, such as Chainlink’s CCIP, SolvBTC.LSTs can be moved effortlessly across multiple blockchain networks, providing flexibility and accessibility.

  • DeFi Protocol Access: LST holders can participate in a wide range of decentralized finance applications, such as liquidity provision, lending, and trading, using their SolvBTC.LST tokens as collateral.

  • Continued Yield Generation: Even while maintaining liquidity, users can continue earning staking rewards on their Bitcoin. This ensures that SolvBTC.LSTs transform Bitcoin from a passive asset into an active, yield-generating tool.

By utilizing SolvBTC.LSTs, Bitcoin holders can retain full control of their assets, benefit from cross-chain flexibility, and access diverse yield streams without compromising liquidity.
