# MiCA Compliance

## One of the First Bitcoin Finance Projects Under MiCA

Solv Protocol is proud to be one of the first Bitcoin finance projects to achieve full compliance with the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.

This places Solv at the forefront of Europe’s evolving digital finance landscape. MiCA compliance means that our Bitcoin-based financial products operate under the highest standards of transparency, investor protection, and market integrity, giving users and institutions confidence in engaging with Solv.

## What MiCA Certification Means for Bitcoin Finance

Being MiCA-certified provides Solv with a strong foundation to scale responsibly across Europe:

* Regulatory Recognition – Solv is officially recognized by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) as a compliant project.
* Investor Trust – Our disclosures, white papers, and structures meet strict requirements for transparency and accountability.
* Market Access – Compliance grants Solv the ability to offer services across all 27 EU member states without fragmented licensing.
* Institutional Adoption – By aligning with MiCA, Solv unlocks opportunities to partner with funds, banks, and fintechs who require regulatory certainty.
* First-Mover Advantage – As one of the earliest Bitcoin finance projects under MiCA, Solv sets the benchmark for compliant on-chain financial products.

## How to Verify Solv’s MiCA Compliance

Anyone can independently verify Solv’s compliance status using ESMA’s official database:

1. Visit the official ESMA MiCA page:\
   👉[ ESMA – Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA)](https://www.esma.europa.eu/esmas-activities/digital-finance-and-innovation/markets-crypto-assets-regulation-mica)
2. Scroll to the “MiCA Interim Register” section.
3. Download the CSV files: White papers for crypto-assets
4. Open the White papers for crypto-assets CSV file in Excel (or another spreadsheet tool).
5. Use the search function (CTRL + F / CMD + F) and type “Solv” or “Solv Protocol.”
6. You will find Solv Protocol listed as a compliant entity, confirming its MiCA registration.

## Why This Matters for Solv and its Users

* Verification: Users can confirm Solv’s compliance status directly through ESMA’s official MiCA register.
* Transparency: Compliance ensures that Solv meets disclosure and reporting standards required under EU law.
* User Protection: MiCA provides safeguards for investors, including clear risk disclosures and accountability structures.
* Regulated Access: Solv’s compliance status allows it to operate across EU member states under a unified regulatory framework.
